Adult Ministries

Adult Bible Fellowships - Meets Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.

Current adult classes:

Summer Quarter Adult Bible Fellowships:

The Scripture Press Adult Bible Fellowship is studying the books of Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.  These are the third, fourth and fifth books of the Pentateuch.  Together they describe events occurring from the time the Israelites continued their encampment at the foot of Mount Sinai to the death of Moses. Join us in the classroom in the south education wing as we study the laws, purposes, and character of God intriguingly portrayed in these three books of the Bible.  We can learn how God blessed and admonished those whom He had chosen to be His representatives to the rest of the world and how much they can teach us as we strive to be God's people in the world today.  This class is led by Ed Bogner.

The Family Life Center Adult Bible Fellowhship has just started volume 4 of the Focus on the Family "Faith Lessons" series.  This study is on the "Death and Resurrection of the Messiah".  Being a follower of Jesus does not mean staying away from evil.  It means confronting it face-to face, just like Jesus did every single day and through His resurrection.  In this fourth set of Faith Lessions, leearn how confronting evil can be loudly proclaiming the name of Jesus, or quietly caring for someone in need. This class meets in the FLC and is facilitated by Gregg Little.

If you are college age or 20 something, you are encouraged to check out the College/Career Adult Bible Fellowhship as it is studying Old Testament Covenants.  This class meets in the library/prayer room and is facilitated by Kent Hoover and Chris Law.

Adult Bible Fellowship will help you go deeper in your understanding of the Bible.

Small Groups -

Getting into a small group will help you grow in your relationship with God through studying the Bible together with others, thus growing in friendships with others along the way. Various Bible studies and small groups are held on week nights throughout the year. Small groups provide a great environment for you to grow to become a fully devoted follower of Christ. A small group usually consists of about 4 to 14 people, meeting in people’s homes in a casual atmosphere.

If you would like to get into a small group, please show that by checking the box on your Sunday tearoff form or call the church. One of our small groups is Divorce Care which meets Wednesday evenings from 6:15-7:45 pm September-May.

This group provides help, hope and healing to those separated or divorced.

Also, we have a prayer time every Friday from 12:10 pm to 12:50 pm at church in our library/prayer room.
