Awana
The name Awana is an acronym for “Approved Workers Are Not Ashamed.” This is taken from the Awana theme Bible verse in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, correctly handling the word of truth.”
Awana is for children ages 3 through grade 6. We meet at the church on Wednesdays, 6:20 to 8:00 pm from September 8th through early May. Awana blends Bible teaching, Scripture memorization, and tons of fun! Awana is fun with a purpose – to reach and train children for Jesus Christ.
Awana in led by our Commander Steve Ruggles.
