Scott Schaefer
Scott is our Senior Pastor and has served here since April, 2000. Scott’s spiritual gifts are teaching and shepherding. Scott and his wife, Connie, were married in 1980, and Scott has been serving in pastoral ministry since 1984. Scott and Connie have three children, Jared, their oldest is married to Amy. Their second son, Jeff is in college locally at Southwestern, and their daughter, Kelsi, attends Moody Bible Institute.
Scott enjoys reading, cheering the Nebraska Cornhusker football team (his college alma mater, where he became born again) helping others grow in God’s Word, and spending time with his bride, Connie. Keith Reeser
Keith is our Youth Pastor and has served with us since July, 2008. Keith enjoys speaking to youth of all ages and has especially enjoyed ministering to Jr. and Sr. High students since 2005. Keith was married to Tahnee on June 2, 2007 and has enjoyed getting to work with her in youth ministry. Keith and Tahnee are parents of a son,Malachi John. Two of Keith's favorite things to do in the ministry are teaching and getting to know students outside of the church building setting.
On a day off Keith enjoys almost any outdoor activity from fishing to four-wheeling and never misses the opportunity to play basketball. Keith is a Chicago Cubs fan and knows that some day all of his patience and endurance for this team will pay off. Keith graduated from Barclay College with a B.S. in Youth Ministry and Bible in 2008. Jo Little
Jo has shared the secretary position with Kathy since July, 2008. Jo enjoys keeping the church office running efficiently and updating the church's website. Jo and her husband, Gregg have been attending EFC since 1993 when they were invited to bring their 2 girls to Awana. Jo has been involved in children's ministries, small group ministry and is currently the nursery coordinator. Their oldest daughter, Sara Randall, now lives in Tenessee with her husband Dusty and her two sons, Christian, 7, and Colin, 4. Rachel Talley and her husband, Justin live in Big Sandy, TX at the ALERT Academy Campus. They have two daughters, Tirzah, 2, and Rayah, born in Dec. '09.
Jo enjoys the outdoors, gardening and hiking, reading, knitting and sewing, but most of all visiting her children and grandchildren.
